“We are excited to expand within the North Florida area with our newest Zaxby’s location,” said Ron Gosselin of New Berlin JASZ, Inc. in a statement. “We look forward to serving indescribably good chicken–especially Zaxby’s new Fried Chicken Philly–through exceptional service by our entire team. Our restaurant will focus on delivering an unparalleled dining experience while also partnering with local schools and churches to give back to the community.”

The 2904-square-foot restaurant boasts a classic white farmhouse-style design and is equipped with a dining room that seats up to 56 guests. Featuring a double drive-thru layout, complete with Zaxby’s new cutting-edge digital menu boards, the payment and pickup process will be streamlined for guests seeking quicker service.

The opening comes amid the brand’s recent push into new flavor territory with the introduction of its latest limited-time offer – the Fried Chicken Philly. The new sandwich is a twist on the original Philly cheesesteak, featuring Zaxbys’ fried or grilled chicken, garlic aioli, and a combination of melted American cheese, grilled peppers and onions served on a toasted hoagie roll.

New Berlin JASZ, Inc., owned by licensee Ron Gosselin, will open its 13th Zaxby’s restaurant in the Jacksonville area. The new location is offering up to 46 new employment opportunities to the Jacksonville community.
