Beachwalk Retail Center LLC, a partnership between PEBB Enterprises and Falcone Group, has announced three new tenants coming to the development, including Fancy Sushi and Playa Bowls, according to the Jacksonville Business Journal. These new tenants join several previously announced businesses, including Bagels R Us, Island Fin Poke, Whiskey Joe’s, and Cold Stone Creamery. Construction of the development is expected to be completed sometime next year.
“Beachwalk continues to attract tremendous interest from top-tier retailers and food-and-beverage operators,” PEBB Vice President of Leasing Jenny Schuemann said in the release. “The multi-faceted nature of Beachwalk is extremely appealing to prospective tenants. Our venture looks forward to announcing additional new leases in the coming weeks.”
Like most metropolitans, Starbucks can already be found throughout the Jacksonville area. The company is also working on opening a new location at 14447 Beach Boulevard, replacing Wendy’s. Starbucks is also working on a new 2,827-square-foot location at Northeast Beach and Kernan Boulevards and expanding to a vacant space in Girvin at 13315 Atlantic Blvd. The news of the new site comes on the heels of the company’s long-awaited return of pumpkin spice lattes.
“As the different components of Beachwalk are delivered, the community will benefit from a critical mass of residents, hotel guests, and other visitors,” PEBB Chief Investment Officer Eric Hochman said. “That makes our project ideal for restaurants and service-oriented retail tenants.”
