While the company is still working on its first location in Jacksonville at 13500 Beach Blvd Ste 36A, Wild Pie is already looking to expand within Florida. President Bart Ortiz expects to open the new Gainesville location in the first half of next year. The restaurant will offer delicious pizza made from house-made dough and hand-stretched to order. Each pizza has fresh vegetables and some plant-based substitutes to reimagine classic favorites. There will also be salads, snacks, and desserts to finish the meal.

Wild Pie started as a pop-up around the Jacksonville area in January 2023 with its vibrant green food truck. Then, The Culinary Edge (TCE), America’s leading culinary innovation agency offering future-driven solutions for food service brands, partnered with the company to open its first brick-and-mortar. Owned and operated by OSO Capital Management, LLC (“OSO Capital”), Wild Pie is the direct result of a partnership between TCE and the Jacksonville-based venture capital group.

“We are a modern American pizzeria made 100% plant-based,” according to the company’s website. “Here, you can have your favorite pizza reimagined in plant-forward deliciousness or discover a new favorite with our original toppings and sauces. We go wild with all the good stuff— like house-made dough and seasonal produce — to make pies so tasty you’ll be craving a bite every single day. Complement your pizza experience with a vibrant, fresh salad or one of our bold, shareable nibbles. With flavors this good, plant-lovers and meat-lovers alike will want to have a taste of the wild side.”
