The company’s second location will move into the Ash Properties’ Durbin Crossing Shoppes near Bayard in a few weeks, according to the Florida Times-Union. The announcement comes on the heels of the company signing a lease for a third location to The Reef, a new luxury rental apartment and mixed-use complex at 2753 Mayport Road in Atlantic Beach. The company made its debut in 2015 at 100 E. Forsyth St. near the Florida Theatre. The new site will open before the end of the year.

When the company’s second location opens, customers can expect a selection of 24 craft brews, as well as a handful of unique twists on traditional comfort foods. Some menu highlights include The Duval Dirty Bird sandwich made with seasoned chicken thigh, applewood smoked bacon, pepper jack, green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, habanero aioli, and the That’s All Folks mac n cheese, made with BBQ pork shoulder, grilled onions, smoked Gouda cheese.

“We are ecstatic to continue expanding our Spliff’s brand to the beaches. We feel the Mayport area will be a great fit for Spliff’s food, drinks, and overall vibe,” Jason Hunnicutt, partner at Spliff’s GastroPub, said in a news release. “This will be a great option for lunch, dinner and late-night dining. We look forward to serving the Reef Apartment and the surrounding area.”
