The new locations will be owned and operated by a franchisee, 7 Venture, Inc., which is an affiliate of Arkansas-based K-MAC Enterprises, according to Jacksonville Daily Record. 7Brew Coffee plans to open new locations in Fernandina Beach at 1940 S 14th Street; Neptune Beach at 1223 Atlantic Boulevard; Jacksonville at 7770 Normandy Boulevard; and a site in Gerona, according to Seven Venture, Inc.’s website. 7Brews Coffee reportedly has 165 locations planned in Florida over the next five years.
“While we intended for these to open months ago, the city permitting and JEA utility company have completely derailed our expected opening dates here,” a company representative tells What Now Jacksonville. “We’re hopeful that the Beach Blvd location can open in late April or early May. Normandy Blvd location likely in late May, or early June. We have a pipeline of about 5-8 more locations expected to open within the next 2 years in Jacksonville Metro, but just hopeful we can get some type of normalcy for projections in Jacksonville.”
It’s a perfect time for the company to expand, as several other drive-thru coffee chains are surging into the area. Dunkin’ GO, Ellianos, and Scooters Coffee are all planning to open several new locations in Jacksonville. Ellianos currently has plans for at least 12 sites coming to Northeast Florida, while Scooters Coffee intends to open up to 16 locations in the area.
“7 Brew is so much more than just a coffee stand,” according to the company’s website. “It’s the concept of cultivating kindness and joy with every drink – through our service, speed, quality, energy, and atmosphere. It’s contagious, and it’s changing the drive-thru coffee industry.”
