According to reports by Florida Times-Union and Jacksonville Daily Record, their corporate-owned restaurant will debut at 9940 Old Baymeadows Road in Deerwood Village Mall, with the next heading to 1500 University Blvd West in the Lakewood Promenade shopping center. These locations are the first of five planned restaurants in Jacksonville.

The family-owned business started in Toledo, Ohio in 1989 and has since grown to 26 locations in the state. Founded by restaurant industry veteran Phil Buerk, the business is now led by his son and co-founder Shain Buerk

The breakfast and lunch restaurant will soon introduce their family recipes and signature dishes like Uncle Moose’s Manhandler Skillet, Hash & Eggs, or Bottomless French Toast or Pancakes. Scramblers also offers sandwiches and burgers for those looking for options outside of breakfast.

While initial reports shared the Deerwood Village location would open in late 2022, the restaurant’s Google listing shares that it will open on January 9th. Scramblers in Lakewood Promenade is also expected in early 2023 but no set opening date has been announced. Get to know Scramblers by visiting their Website.
