“Our team has been hard at work, and we look forward to bringing more of Whataburger’s bold flavors and warm hospitality to the Jacksonville community,” said Operating Partner Chad Donahue, who will oversee the restaurant and lead a team of up to 85 Family Members, or Whataburger employees in a statement. “We’ve felt the love from friends new and familiar and look forward to making our opening day a sizzling sensation!”

The restaurant opened with 24/7 drive-thru service only to start. In the coming weeks, Whataburger will introduce even more ways for the community to enjoy its offerings, such as in-store dining, online ordering through the Whataburger App and Whataburger.com, as well as curbside and delivery options at this location.

Paying respect to Whataburger’s storied history while looking to the future with a forward-thinking design, restaurant features include double drive-thru lanes and an open-concept dining room to best serve guests and custom wall art highlighting area landmarks.

Whataburger is open 24/7, 364 days a year (closed Christmas Day), with breakfast served from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m.
