This will be the first restaurant from Fire and Vine Restaurant Group, moving into the former home of 3 Palms Grille, which will close on May 1. Chef Jonathan Blackford will serve as executive chef and majority owner, having experience as the executive chef/investor at A Restaurant, CDM, and owner of Fork & Knife, according to a press release. Argyle, expected to open in late June 2023, will serve as the chef’s newest destination to elevate the dining experience through ingredient-driven food and drinks.

“Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach have the makings of a great food scene, and we know we can be a positive part of that growth here,” Blackford says in the press release. “Plus, working with The Yards for our first project is exciting, and we will be bringing that CA coastal feel to North Florida.”

When the new restaurant opens, it will serve casual California coastal-style cuisine, focusing on seasonal Florida ingredients. Customers can expect a meticulously curated wine/cocktail list to enhance the dining experience. Open for both lunch and dinner, Argyle is setting out to take the love for dining to another level with ingredient-forward menus that will change seasonally. The restaurant will also offer outdoor seating once it opens.

“We are excited for our Pickleball, Golf, and Tennis members as well as the community to have a new place that fits the cutting edge vibe of the Yards,” Mike Miles, General Manager of The Yards, says in a press release. “Chef Jon will be bringing a culinary experience that hasn’t yet been seen in Ponte Vedra Beach.”
