Heritage Golf Group announced on June 29 that the group had bought the golf club for an undisclosed price, according to Jacksonville Daily Record. The deal includes the golf course, eight tennis courts, club dining, and an aquatics center with an Olympic-size swimming pool. This acquisition will bring Heritage Golf Group’s total number of clubs to 32 in 13 states, including TPC Tampa Bay, TPC Prestancia, The Club at Pelican Preserve, The Club at Boca Pointe, and the Venetian Golf Club.

“We are immediately committing significant capital for targeted club improvements to enhance the membership experience and ignite market enthusiasm,” Heritage Chief Revenue Officer Andy Miller said in a news release.

While the exact improvements are unclear, the group will use its recognition to help increase membership for the golf course. When guests aren’t enjoying the athletic amenities, they can cool off in the club dining area. There are four private rooms designed to offer a true variety of dining and banquet experiences with outstanding cuisine and impeccable service. Deercreek Country Club also uses this space for private events and Sunday brunch.
