The new site will open at the Beach Village Shopping Center. This is one of four new locations coming to the greater Jacksonville area. The company is expanding massively throughout the country, with 20 locations coming soon to Florida, according to Finance Buzz. A representative from the company tells What Now Jacksonville that the new Flagler Beach location will be owned and operated by existing franchise owners Alexis and Danny Rosales, who plan to open this site sometime next year.
Previously, What Now Jacksonville reported on the company opening new sites in Jacksonville at 725 Nautica Drive, Suite 100, and 90 Riverside Ave., Suite 604, both of which are expected to open later this year, as well as a location in St. Augustine at 70 Silver Forest Drive, Suite 105. Jersey Mike’s recently celebrated its latest opening in Fleming Island on July 10 at 1560 Business Center Drive. The company’s 19th Jacksonville-area restaurant held its grand opening at the Shops at Eagle Harbor, with a fundraiser benefitting Wolfson Children’s Hospital through July 14.
“We have partnered with Wolfson Children’s Hospital to raise funds that will go towards assisting it in continuing to provide outstanding care to the children of Fleming Island and surrounding communities,” franchise owner Thomas Tyrrell said in a news release.
While Jersey Mike’s continues to work on four additional new locations coming to Northeast Florida, the company has at least a dozen more coming to Florida. New sites are expected to open in Davenport, Delray Beach, Ocala, Orlando, Parrish, Pensacola, Riverview, and many more. While most of these locations will be franchise-owned, they will all be led by Brian Kenny and Todd Quinzi, the area directors for the restaurant chain in Florida.
