The restaurant will be taking over the old Brucci’s Pizza location inside the Hodges Pointe Plaza, near the Beach Haven area of Jacksonville.

Wild Pie is known for their vegan-friendly artisanal pizzas, salads, and cookies. Their online menu includes creatively named pizza flavors such as the “Taco ‘Bout It”, the “Kale Me Maybe”, and the “Double Truffle” pies.

Owner Bart Ortiz of OSO Culinary Ventures is behind the new expansion.

Though it is unclear when the grand opening date of Wild Pie’s first standing location will be, Ortiz has confirmed a summer 2023 opening.

Wild Pie has been driving to different breweries and events to sell their vegan pizzas on-the-go since 2021. This physical location will mean more seating and possibly a larger menu for customers to enjoy.

“We’ve had an overwhelming positive response to our food truck and can’t wait to open our first brick and mortar location,” Ortiz told What Now Jacksonville.
