Delta Hotels by Marriott Jacksonville Deerwood announced its grand opening following the completion of a $6 million property-wide renovation and rebranding. The newly transformed 166-room hotel, owned by affiliates of 1754 Properties and investment group Argosy Real Estate Partners, invites guests to experience a fresh dining destination, refurbished guest rooms, a modernized lobby and coffee shop, state-of-the-art fitness center with views of the refreshing pool, and upgraded meetings and events spaces.

Entrusted with melding the spirit of Jacksonville with the hotel, design agency Jacki Arena Interior embarked on a total redesign of the building, reinvigorating the interiors to create an entirely new space. Inspired by the natural environment, the new design cultivates a serene and revitalizing resort-like setting by seamlessly integrating outdoor elements indoors. Incorporating organic materials such as natural wood, rustic stone, intricately woven fibers and refreshing shades of blue, the newly revamped interior radiates a welcoming ambiance. The newly minted hotel focuses on a clean aesthetic, and a modern take on comfort.
Boasting 163 rooms and three suites, each room is designed with vibrant blues and is equipped with large workspaces to enhance productivity, a mini refrigerator, upgraded bed linens and complimentary Wi-Fi. With the rise of business travel, the property accommodates corporate meetings and small events with a total of 3,795 square feet of renovated meeting space including five event rooms holding up to 180 people total. Complete with a newly updated restaurant, Delta Grill, guests can enjoy freshly made, locally sourced ingredients for breakfast and dinner. The new Bridges Coffee Shop offers freshly prepared breakfast and lunch, as well as items for guests on the go, and the completely transformed gym offers travelers state-of-the-art equipment with an outdoor view of the refurbished pool area.
