The cafe was established in 2017 at 1842A S. Ocean Shore Boulevard and has been growing ever since, offering delicious coffee and smoothie bowls. The owners, Tim and Jody Bulischeck, recently submitted a plan review application to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. They tell What Now Jacksonville that the company hopes to open its second location sometime this month but is waiting on approval from the DBPR.

When the new location opens, customers can expect various coffees, tea, and smoothie options. For coffee, the cafe has plenty of variations and substitutions available to make any coffee drink easily customizable. On the other hand, Kool Beenz Coffee & Smoothies currently has 11 different smoothie flavors, including the banana boat, sweet sunrise, and the tropical breeze, which has strawberry, mango, papaya, pineapple, and pineapple juice. All smoothies can be turned into smoothie bowls, with a handful of toppings and add-ons available.

Kool Beenz Coffee & Smoothies isn’t just a place to get a healthy smoothie; it’s also a place to get a delicious alcoholic drink. In addition to a handful of alcoholic beverages, such as mimosas, coronas, white claws, and Guinness, the original location also features wine smoothies. The Sweet Sunset, for example, features banana, orange, pineapple, and raspberry wine. Owners tell What Now Jacksonville that the new location will not feature alcoholic drinks. The cafe also hosts events, such as a monthly paint night.
