The company’s second area location is set to move into the Publix-anchored Steeplechase Plaza Shopping Center in Jonesville later this year, according to The Gainesville Sun. The roughly 4,500-square-foot restaurant was expected to open by the end of last year, but several delays have caused the opening date to be pushed back as construction continues on the site. When it opens later this year, customers can expect an outdoor patio and a variety of bar snacks and entrees.

Gators Dockside has locations throughout Florida, including several in the Northeast. Franchise owner Jerry Roberts, who owns the locations in Ocala, Lake City, and Spring Hill, will run this location, as well as the other Gainesville site at 3842 Newberry Road, Suite 1A. While the restaurant offers a variety of food options, it is best known for its wings, which are deep-fried and tossed in a choice of one of more than 15 sauces, then grilled to perfection. If the food wasn’t enough to get you into a location, the restaurant has also proudly worked with several charities.

“The family-friendly, sports-themed restaurants offer a fun atmosphere for everyone!” according to the company’s website. “We’re known for our big screen TVs, great food, and friendly service. Our signature grilled wings are flavored with our tasty wing sauces that have made us famous. We only use the freshest, quality ingredients in all our menu selections, including burgers, hearty sandwiches, made-from-scratch ribs, entree salads, and desserts that will bring you back to Gator’s again and again.”
