The company recently received permits from the city to expand next door into the former home of Hew, according to Jacksonville Daily Record. Owner James Lowe tells What Now Jacksonville that the new space will be used as a billiard hall, moving all the pool tables next door. As a result, Lowe will spruce up the current space to turn it into a dueling piano bar with live entertainment, games, and a members-only space. The expansion will allow owners to have 20,000 square feet of total space.

Lowe says the renovations will take about six weeks, hoping to be completed in mid-to-late July 2023. 9 Ball Heaven Sports Grill & Billiards will continue to serve delicious food from executive chef Ms. Tee. The restaurant’s current menu features famous wings, burgers, and salads, as well as an award-winning gumbo. With 10+ HDTVs, 9 Ball Sports Grill quickly became the place to shoot pool and watch your favorite sporting events.

Now the business will offer even more adult entertainment to the shopping center. The only other option to get food in the area is Casa Bonita Mexican Bar & Grill. The larger space will likely allow the business to expand its menu and drink offerings. Whether or not new menu items are added, customers can expect an exciting new dueling-piano concept that will keep guests in their seats all night.

CORRECTION: The article previously mentioned Shawn Lowe as the executive chef. Ms. Tee is the new executive chef.
