Talkin’ Tacos, a food truck turned fast-casual Mexican eatery is now serving up even more scratch-made, innovative Mexican dishes in Jacksonville. The brand, known for their signature 12-hour braised beef birria, is now open in St. John’s Town Center at 4853 Big Island Drive and is celebrated with a grand opening fiesta on Friday, May 31. The celebration took place from 6-10 p.m. with the first 100 guests in line receiving a free order of the concept’s signature Birria Tacos, UNF cheerleader appearance, mariachi band, DJ and live entertaiment. The community celebration will continue from Monday, June 3rd through Friday, June 7th with all first responders receiving a free meal.

The new 1,800 sq. foot restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, and their chef-driven menu will feature an array of guest-favorites such as Birria Tacos, Birria Ramen, Southwest Chicken Tacos, Birria Pizza and Street Corn in a Cup. A hallmark of the menu is the beef birria which is braised each day for 12 hours before completing the cooking process. A Talkin’ Tacos meal is capped off with desserts like loaded Churros, Tajin & Chamoy gummies and homemade specialty beverages including lemonades, horchatas and mangonadas.

Talkin’ Tacos Jacksonville Town Center is open Monday – Sunday 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
