The Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation recently approved the company for a new vehicle. It’s unclear exactly when owner Sen Khiev plans to launch the new food truck, but it’s safe to say it will offer delicious Mexican cuisine, including tacos, bowls, burritos, and nachos. Once it begins operating, the new Sublime Tacos food truck will be used for events and catering. The restaurant is currently located at 1818 NE Waldo Road.

It’s been quite the journey for Sublime Tacos. The restaurant has been housed at 4th Ave Food Park since 2019 but announced last year that it would move to its current location as a drive-thru-only site. Now, the company is getting ready to extend its reach with this food truck.

The successful entrepreneur was brought on by his sister, Sydney Meth, to help run Cilantro Tacos when it was a food truck in downtown Gainesville. Eventually, the restaurant was able to upgrade to a brick-and-mortar at the food park, and Khiev decided it was time to start his own business with Sublime Tacos. When this food truck opens, the company will bring delicious Mexican food to parts of Northeast Florida.
