The owner of the upcoming restaurant was recently approved with provisions for new construction, according to a recent plan review application to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. What Now Jacksonville was able to get ahold of owner Cecilia Campbell, but she wasn’t willing to provide any information regarding the opening or the concept. There is no exact opening date for Mama Jeanette’s Restaurant.

This new restaurant will move into a vacant lot at the corner of US HWY 441 and NW Farley Pl. Considering the only other restaurant nearby is Huddle House, this will be an excellent spot for Mama Jeanette’s Restaurant. The eatery will see plenty of customers from the Deer Run Mobile Home Park and nearby businesses, such as the Target Corporation.

Considering the owner recently applied and was approved for new construction, nearby residents and workers will likely not see this new food option open until sometime next year. When it does, it will likely be a wholesome eatery where anyone is welcome. With a name like Mama Jeanette’s Restaurant, it’s safe to say there will be some comfort food to be served.
