The company’s second site will be more than 3,000 square feet, making it nearly twice the size of the San Marco location at 48 San Marco, according to Jacksonville Business Journal. This is a huge achievement for owner Jenn Ashton, considering she opened the restaurant in three locations. Now, she’s able to open a second location, this time in a building that she will own. The space is currently home to the Jesus Ministries International. Ashton hopes to open in about 12 months, offering sandwiches, salads, coffee drinks, and more.

“We really wanted to buy something, a commercial property,” Ashton tells the Business Journal. “The one way to control rent and your investment … is to purchase something. We’d like to do some nighttime stuff out there, maybe some fresh food, a little more retail.”

When the new location opens next year, customers can expect a variety of delicious menu items crafted with pure, seasonal ingredients, free from preservatives and high-fructose corn syrup. Juniper Market partners with local farms to provide locally sourced goods and ensure the best seasonal produce. Everything Juniper offers is made in-house and crafted carefully, so you know you’re getting the best with every bite.

“Whether you’re looking for a quick bite to grab on the go or settling in for one of our famous Havarti and Fig grilled cheese, come and experience the local flavor of St. Augustine at Juniper Market,” according to the company’s website. “We offer a communal space for the neighborhood to gather with friendly faces in a familiar setting. Providing locals with fresh and healthy comfort food that can be enjoyed in-house or at home.”
