St. Johns-based One More Pie LLC, led by Christian Stephens and his son, Christian Dunn, is working on a new location west of the intersection of Southside and Beach Boulevards, according to Jacksonville Business Journal. The company’s tenth Northeast Florida location will be at the Promenade At Beach Boulevard at 8567 Beach Blvd. The architect is GPN Architecture Inc., and Dancor Construction will be the contractor for the $275,000 buildout.

This is just the beginning for the franchise group, which also consists of James Wu and Raffi Sariboyajian. One More Pie LLC plans to open five more locations over the next five years. The group has a few locations locked up and is waiting to see how the first location opens, which is scheduled for mid-October. The new locations prove impressive for the Ohio-based company, as local businessman Clayton Kryvicky is preparing to open another location in St. Augustine at 965 FL-16 #101. Marco’s Pizza reached an expansion milestone by opening its 1,200th location earlier this year and is on pace for continued growth, with more than 100 stores in various stages of development and more than 170 franchising agreements signed.

“We are always intentional with each development decision,” Gerardo Flores, chief development officer of Marco’s Franchising, LLC, said in a press release. “In conducting a thorough market analysis, we’ve identified Boise to be a fast-growing city with strong demographics and an impressive labor market. We believe the corporate stores will find success in a market we have determined is primed for growth, especially when those stores will be combined with Marco’s commitment to the highest quality products and forward-thinking innovations.”
