The company’s newest location is set to replace a car wash near the Your Storage Units Jacksonville, according to a recently approved plan review application submitted to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. There isn’t a clear timeline for the opening of this new Einstein Bros. Bagels, considering the application is for new construction, and the company will build a new restaurant from the ground up. This will be the third location in Jacksonville between the two existing sites.

This is a massive accomplishment for the company, which has over 600 locations near you across the U.S. At the beginning of the century, Einstein Bros. filed for bankruptcy, having loaned too much money to franchisees, leading New World Coffee to buy the company out of bankruptcy for $190 million. Ten years ago, Einstein Noah Restaurant Group was acquired by JAB Holding Company and BDT Capital Partners, and three years ago today, Einstein Bros. announced that it had merged with Panera Bread and Caribou Coffee to form Panera Brands. Now, the company is moving forward with expansion plans.

When the new Einstein Bros. Bagels opens, likely next year, customers can expect a variety of delicious fresh-baked bagels and double-whipped cream cheese shmear. The brand also serves Signature Egg Sandwiches; favorites include the Farmhouse Egg Sandwich, the All-Nighter Egg Sandwich, and the Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich. Earlier this year, Einstein Bros. Bagels launched its first limited-time offer since 2021 with the Maplehouse Egg Sandwich.
