A new restaurant from the owners of 3 Palms Grille and Eleven South will be opening soon at 1314 Prudential Drive. City Grille and Raw Bar will focus on fresh seafood, steaks and seasonal specialties, as well as an extensive international wine list.
The original opening date for City Grille was fall of 2022, however owners John Nagy and Karen Belloit Thomas have stated the construction and renovation efforts have taken longer than anticipated. A new targeted opening goal is for this spring, though an exact date has not been confirmed.
City Grille will be open for lunch and dinner six days a week, as well as offering a weekend brunch special. Its website states “In our true-to-self form, our menu will be nothing short of fresh and delicious. The Raw Bar will feature fresh oysters from the East and West Coasts as well as a selection of ceviche, tartar and crudo.”
It also lists having multiple private event spaces inside the restaurant, called the Velvet Room, Tuscan Room and Garden Room. Permits show the dining space will be 3,695 square feet with an additional 784 square feet of outdoor dining space.
