Boba Panda Tea Shop plans to open this spring and will serve authentic tea-based boba drinks, as well as a small food menu. There’s currently no definitive grand opening date.

Xin Yuan, who goes by the nickname Timeaus, is heading up the new shop. Timeaus spoke with What Now Jacksonville about Boba Panda Tea Shop’s opening.

“We’re hoping to open as soon as some permits and final details are approved,” Timeaus said in a phone interview.

The website for Boba Panda Tea Shop showcases a food menu of gyoza, ramen, seaweed salad, edamame, udon noodle soup, and chocolate ice cream. The tea options offered include Thai vanilla red tea, Chinese flower green tea, and New England iced tea. The menu may expand with more choices after opening.

Boba Panda Tea Shop will be neighboring the newest location of Insomnia Cookies on West Adams St. as well as Jimmy Johns and Jumpin’ Jax House of Food.
