Bubbakoo’s Burritos at 9810 Baymeadows Road will now be operating under new ownership. Now, the popular Tex Mex spot will be run by Jackson Baillargeon, Jack Scharnagl and Mio Aponte.
“As someone who has been deeply involved with the Bubbakoo’s brand for years, transitioning into ownership alongside Jackson and Jack is an incredibly rewarding opportunity,” Aponte said in a press release. “We’ve seen firsthand how the brand resonates with guests, and we’re excited to bring that same energy and passion to Jacksonville.”
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to see Mio, Jackson, and Jack take the reins at the Jacksonville location,” said Bill Hart, co-founder of Bubbakoo’s Burritos. “As we continue to expand, it’s important that our franchisees embody the values and passion that have fueled our success, and we’re confident that this group will bring that same commitment to the Jacksonville community.”
Originating in New Jersey in 2008, Bubbakoo’s stores offer a twist on traditional Mexican dishes like tacos and burritos. These twists include Nashville hot chicken, hibachi steak, curly fries and more.
