“We have now twelve food truck signed up and two in talks, so we’ll have fourteen trucks total when we open up,” co-owner Maulin Patel tells What Now Jacksonville (Mr. Patel will run the park and bar alongside Bhairavi Patel).
“We have max space for around seventeen trucks.”
When asked what food trucks in particular will be found at the park, Patel is committed to secrecy.
“We are trying to make it a surprise, but I’ll give you some examples of the cuisine we’ll have,” he says, listing pizza, Mexican, Asian, South African, and Argentinean, local hand made ice creams and snowballs, and wood-fired pizza, among others.
“It’s a big variety of cuisines,” Mr. Patel enthuses. “Our mission is to bring people together via community, culture, and food.”
Beyond the ample selection of food trucks, there will be a bar run by Global Bites itself.
“We will have twenty four specialty draft beers from around the world. It’s a wine and beer bar and we’ll serve it as cold as possible.”
So when will this exciting new development open?
“We don’t have an opening date yet but we hope to be open by mid-December,” Mr. Patel states.
