904 Bagels & More, a brand-new shop specializing in New York-style bagels and baked goods, is preparing to debut in Saint Johns at 530 State Road 13, Suite #5.
The new business is set to move into the former home of Urban Designs & Treasures just south of the Julington Village shopping center, according to the company’s website. 904 Bagels & More is hoping to have its grand opening in mid-September 2024, offering a plethora of different bagel and cream cheese options and coffee from Freedom Hill Coffee Roasters, a local veteran-owned business. The new bagel shop is the latest from Michael and Catherine Guarino.
When 904 Bagels & More opens next month, customers can expect every bagel option, including pumpernickel, French toast, multigrain, egg, blueberry, rye, and more. On top of the classic cream cheese spread, available in various flavors, the bagel shop also offers a variety of other toppings, such as peanut butter and jelly, tuna salad, egg salad, chicken salad, and more. For the more extreme, the eatery will have a handful of “outrageous bagels” loaded with different toppings. For example, the S’mores extreme bagel is topped with Nutella, graham crackers crumble, and marshmallows.
Bagels aren’t the only thing you will find at 904 Bagels & More. The eatery also offers breakfast sandwiches, available on a bagel or a roll, that can be customized. For other baked goods, customers can expect a few cookies, muffins, and cupcakes. Finally, to drink, the cafe will have hot coffee, tea, and other bottled beverages.
This will be an excellent spot for the new business, considering it’s surrounded by several other storefronts and has limited competition other than Parlor Doughnuts across State Road 13. While there are a handful of other places nearby to grab a bite to eat or even breakfast and coffee, none of them are as dedicated to delicious bagels as 904 Bagels & More.
